Kokoda Challenge Training Camp – A Picture Diary
While the rest of Australia was waking up to chocolate eggs and church services the KSR team was out on the Kokoda Course doing what we do best….RUNNNING….(then drinking some beer) And running some more!
So to keep it interesting behold below, a picture diary from our 1st Kokoda training camp.
Starting location: Orange Court Mudgeeraba!
First climb of the day, Hike fest…turns out this was a wrong turn! Good training though!
Dave pushing hard, 5min into the run!
Had to prove I was there, nothing like a trail selfy!
Dan catching us on the flats…this dude has some serious speed!
Dave and Ben, post CP2 just before the first Austinville range climb
Dave and Ben (Dan in distance) 200m past last photo, hiking the first Austinville climb! At 30% its a train wreak if you run it!
Ben near the top of the climb showing us his famed hiking frog walk!
Dave not far behind ben after stopping to “purchase” some sticks
Top of the Range. We just ran up that “Advanced Track” God knows how they get horses out here!
Post run “Team bonding” Dip in the river
Dave doing what he does best….relaxing!
Serious trail talk going on here!
The end…AKA BEER TIME
